17Capital finances Investcorp assets

17Capital has provided more than $200m of portfolio finance to Investcorp in return for exposure to a diversified portfolio of assets in the US and Europe.

The fund or assets the portfolio financing relates to has not been disclosed.

Rishi Kapoor, co-CEO at Investcorp, said, “Given the current economic climate, and our expectations over the coming years, we believe that there are significant opportunities to expand our alternative asset portfolios in private equity, real estate and credit.
