17Capital promotes Shahin to partner

by Krystal Scanlon 13 May 2022

17Capital has promoted Emad Shahin to partner.

Shahin joined the firm in 2019 as head of legal for investments and was subsequently promoted to general counsel in May 2021. Before 17Capital he held senior roles at JP Morgan and Nomura international.

Shahin’s appointment was part of a wider set of promotions at the firm, including David Wilson and Fokke Lucas, who were also partners.

“We are pleased to recognise David, Emad and Fokke for their valuable contributions to 17Capital as we celebrate another record year of growth and demand for NAV finance, and our recent achievement of one of the largest debut private credit funds in history,” commented Pierre-Antoine de Selancy, managing partner of 17Capital.
