abrdn’s Crusey departs

by Krystal Scanlon 6 July 2022

Former investment director, private markets product strategy - impact and ESG, Alexis Crusey, has left abrdn (formerly Aberdeen Standard Investments - ASI).

She has since taken up a new position as vice president at Campbell Lutyens.

Crusey was appointed to her role at abrdn back in October 2020, in a bid to boost the firm’s ESG efforts. The Drawdown subsequently caught up with her about the position entailed.

During her time at abrdn, Crusey was responsible for leading product and commercial strategy for ESG and impact-oriented solutions across private markets. She will work closely with a team in ASI’s private market business who focus on advancing ESG matters as well as the long-established central ESG team.

A spokesperson for abrdn confirmed to The Drawdown that since her departure, there has not been a direct replacement for Crusey. Going forward, her role will be absorbed by others in the team who hold similar roles.
