Accelex launches portfolio analytics platform
Accelex has launched a portfolio analytics and reporting platform, aiming to provide a single source of validated data.
The solution aims to provide investors and asset servicers with the ability to analyse funds, commitments and underlying assets within a portfolio. Users can access source documents linked to data, analysis on concentration risks or deviation from allocation policies.
Key features include visibility of entities in relation to where they sit amid parent and child investments. James Hackworth, director at Accelex and head of the analytics product, shared more: “The platform shows clearly the traditional hierarchy of the portfolio, investing into many funds, and then funds investing into many assets. Users can navigate freely between those entities, providing that level of granularity necessary for portfolio analysis.”
Nicole Weder, co-founder and chief product officer at Accelex, elaborated on another key feature: “Our platform provides users with real-time data analytics. Once a document comes in, the data is digitalised quickly using AI. The analytics platform displays that extracted data so clients can see what the performance drivers actually are. This saves institutional investors time as it removes the need to collect and extract the data manually.”
Users are able to locate the original documents used in the data extraction. “If you were to click on a particular data point, that action would take you directly to the extraction engine and locate where the data has been extracted from. This provides transparency and clarity, as you are able to see how the data has been collected,” Weder concluded.
The launch forms part of Accelex’s extraction and analytics services.
Accelex previously launched its document management platform in March 2023, providing accounting data and investment insights.
Prior to that, Accelex partnered with Qashqade in December 2022, with the aim of streamlining data and valuation workflows.
