Afinum appoints CFO as managing director
Afinum has appointed the firm’s CFO, Anton Bergman, as managing director, based in Munich.
Bergman joined Afinum in 2019 as co-CFO, after two and a half years as senior manager in KPMG’s finance and capital markets advisory practice. He had returned to KPMG, where he started in 2006 as an assistant manager for audit and finance advisory, following almost two years as a manager in M&A due diligence at PwC.
At Afinum, he has been responsible for finance, ESG and compliance.
Alongside Bergman, Philipp Schülin has joined the ranks of managing directors at the firm.
