AlpInvest secures ESG-linked sub-line

by Alice Murray 10 May 2021

AlpInvest Partners’ $3.5bn eighth co-investment fund (ACF VIII) has secured an ESG-linked credit facility.

ABN AMRO arranged the facility while Rabobank acted as sustainability co-ordinator.

The sub-line is linked to the vehicle’s operations, with measurable performance indicators directly tied to the interest margin of the credit facility, which are designed to boost AlpInvest’s responsible investment activities. KPIs include the investment process, engagement activity and transparency.
