Alter Domus buys IPS Fund Services

Alter Domus has acquired Boston-based fund administrator IPS Fund Services. 

IPS has $9bn in assets under management and focuses on private equity and venture capital funds. 

Following the deal, the IPS team joins Alter Domus’s team. All employees will report to Paul Woods, regional executive North America. 

The transaction forms part of Alter Domus’s North American expansion strategy, where it currently operates 10 offices in the region and has grown headcount from 586 to 656 throughout 2020.
