A&M Tax appoints senior director

Alvarez & Marsal Tax has appointed Rasmus Steiness as senior director.

Steiness joins from Deloitte, where he served for seven years, most recently as director. During this time, he coordinated the firm’s financial services transfer pricing practice in Amsterdam.

He has more than 16 years of experience working with banking, capital markets and fintech clients, having previously worked at EY and PwC.

Steiness has previously been involved in projects regarding reorganisations, operating model design and implementation, international expansion, intellectual property planning and financial transactions.

As a result, Steiness specialises in alignment of tax and operating models and financial transactions.

In his new role, Steiness will service GPs in the end-to-end transfer pricing advisory, from setting up and structuring funds to ongoing deal advisory.

His responsibilities will include setting up a team in the UK and the Netherlands, servicing clients in the financial services industry, specialising in pan-European transfer pricing advisory services.

Steiness commented on his appointment: “I particularly look forward to fostering local relationships, creating a cross-border, collaborative team between London and Amsterdam, and working hard to further strengthen our TP practice.”
