Apollo appoints GC
Apollo Global has appointed Whitney Chatterjee as the firm’s general counsel and announced her assumption of the role of chief legal officer, effective 1 January 2024.
Current chief legal officer John Suydam will step into the role of senior adviser and remain at the firm as a partner.
Chatterjee joins Apollo from Sullivan & Cromwell, where she practised in the firm’s financial services divisions and served as head of the investment management group. During her time at Sullivan & Cromwell, she advised investment managers of both public and private funds.
