Ares Capital appoints first COO
Ares Capital has appointed Jana Markowicz as COO, a newly created role at the company.
She will jointly serve as COO of Ares Management’s US direct lending strategy, where she will collaborate with the co-heads and investment committee members to manage the team and strategy.
Markowicz joined Ares in 2005 as a member of the US direct lending investment team, and has since served as partner and head of product management and investor relations.
