Asante expands to Munich

by Silvia Saccardi 1 December 2022

Asante Capital, a placement and advisory group, has opened its Munich office. George Lyons has been appointed as its director.

Asante is looking to hire individuals with first-hand knowledge of the German and wider European markets. Lyons has a decade’s experience in primary fundraising and placements across EMEA.

“George is an experienced fundraiser with a very strong global network, particularly in the European space,” said Warren Hibbert, co-founder and managing partner at Asante. “With GPs facing a tougher fundraising environment than ever before amid fundraising compression and market uncertainty, ensuring we’re able to continue generating successful outcomes by remaining very close to our stakeholders is vital.”

Asante employs 65 people across offices in London, New York, Hong Kong and now Munich. It specialises in GP advisory and fundraising support across primary, direct and secondary investments.

Asante Capital was the fundraising winner of the Advisory/Consultancy Award at The Drawdown Awards 2022.
