Chopra joins from Deloitte, where he worked as a strategy and operations consultant in the UK and the US, focused on business strategy as well as implementation of transformation projects.

The appointment comes as the listed pan-European manager moves into its new London office, located in Soho.

Aurelius managing director Tristan Nagler said in a statement: ““We are seeing plenty of investment opportunities in the UK market, as shown by our healthy deal pipeline. Our move to a larger office will provide opportunity for growth going forward and is a demonstration of our long-term commitment to the market.

“Daven’s appointment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting our investee companies with dedicated in-house operational expertise,” added Nagler.

Aurelius’s UK team now counts more than twenty members.
