Backstop launches IntellX

by Krystal Scanlon 30 October 2019

Backstop Solutions Group has launched Backstop IntellX, which automates data collection from documents for institutional and alternative investors.

The software uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate inbound data collection, classification and management.

It captures documents directly from the fund source and labels each file type using a documentation classification engine, which is powered by AI. At the same time, machine learning capabilities enable the software to read document contents to organise it in a manner that has been set out by the user, so files can be accessed from a central point across the company.
