BC Partners promotes Mason to group CTO
BC Partners has promoted the firm’s head of technology, Brian Mason, to group CTO.
Mason came to BC Partners in 2022, after two years as head of technology and change at Schroders. His previous professional engagements were in the world of investment banking, at HSBC, Barclays and RBS.
On his new role, Mason commented: “I am thrilled and grateful for my promotion to group chief technology officer, which enables me to deliver even more value to our organisation. This achievement was made possible by the exceptional support of my team, whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in our success. As the CTO, I am excited to lead our team, drive innovation and shape the future of our company. I am deeply thankful for the trust and guidance from our organisation's leadership. Together, we will continue to achieve remarkable accomplishments and contribute to our ongoing success.”
The Drawdown caught up with Mason earlier this year, to discuss the human side of technology, decision making in PE’s tech-driven roles and the state of technology.
