Belasko appoints Jersey client services director

Belasko has expanded its senior leadership team with the hiring of Scott Nelson as client services director based in Jersey.

Nelson joins from fund administrator Fairway Group, where he spent two years as director.

He has more than 20 years’ experience working in industries such as corporate, private wealth and fund administration across various jurisdictions, and is knowledgeable in offshore financial services.

His new responsibilities will include developing corporate strategy, managing risk and developing client experiences together with the fiduciary team.

Paul Lawrence, group managing director at Belasko, commented: “I’m delighted to strengthen our offering in Jersey with Scott’s appointment. He joins us with a wealth of expertise and will be a great addition to our growing team on the island.”

The appointment follows Belasko’s decision to appoint Tom Lambrechts as client services director to lead the Guernsey funds team earlier this year.
