Blackstar creates head of legal role

Blackstar Capital has appointed Khalid Javaid to the newly created role of head of legal.

He joins from Harrison Clark Rickerbys where he spent eight months as a legal director in a consultant capacity, focused on structured trade and commodities finance. Before this, he spent two years in a similar role at DLA Piper, during which time he also undertook a secondment at HSBC Birmingham for six months.
