Blackstone names global head of ESG for PE

Blackstone has named Amisha Parekh as global head of ESG for private equity, based in New York. 

She joins from Bloomberg, where she spent the last four years as head of sustainable finance product incubation. In this role, she led ESG data acquisition and curation efforts and helped to launch the firm’s sustainable finance product offering. Prior to this, she spent five years as a senior manager at Deloitte, where she worked on corporate strategy projects, as well as helped manufacturing, consumer goods and retail clients to develop sustainability strategies and improve operational performance.
