CACEIS partners with Clarity AI

by Matthias Plötz 12 January 2023

CACEIS Investor Services together with Clarity AI has launched an ESG platform with the aim of supporting asset managers and institutional clients with ESG and climate risks arising from their portfolios.

The partnership hopes to support clients with their investment monitoring and decision-making. It aims to achieve this via an integrated platform, which should see Clarity AI support CACEIS’s clients with a breakdown of sustainability risks at portfolio and issuer level. Regulatory reporting capabilities on SFDR and EU Taxonomy requirements constitute an additional feature, according to CACEIS.

“Through our CACEIS/Clarity AI partnership, we can now extend the value we bring to client relationships and the portfolio data we process. This will ultimately help clients demonstrate their sustainability-related value-add, engage with issues within their portfolio and achieve their regulatory objectives,” said Scott Foster, group product manager at CACEIS.

Additionally, CACEIS has launched its GreenAware initiative. According to the firm, the purpose of the forum is to jointly discuss sustainability issues with clients, learn from external speakers and debate case studies in order to upskill internal teams on ESG and climate knowledge.

“At CACEIS, we have an important role to play in helping our clients make sense of data they receive on ESG and climate risks – and this role involves education,” added Foster.
