Carbon Accounting Alliance launches

Accounting conglomerate the Carbon Accounting Alliance has been launched to bring various accounting, software solutions or consulting services companies together to align net-zero efforts.

Andrew Griffiths, director of policy and partnerships at PlanetMark and chair of the National Sustainability Taskforce, co-founded the initiative with Emilien Hoet, managing director at ClimatePartner, with the aim of overcoming challenges to emissions reductions.

The group of approximately 35 members aims to facilitate the measurement of more than 24,000 companies’ greenhouse gas emissions.
