by Matthias Plötz 7 November 2023

Carta, a provider of fund administration software, has launched a fund tax tool with the aim of supporting GPs with managing their fund accounting and taxes.

According to the company, features include:

  • A single point of contact for fund accounting and taxation
  • Assisting with end-of-year filings and real-time allocation calculations
  • Providing draft K-1s for LPs.

“We’re creating a new standard of day one financials: delivering draft quarterly financial statements on the first business day after the end of the quarter,” said Megan Greer, head of venture capital delivery at Carta, in a related statement.
