Cascata launches waterfall tool

by Matthias Plötz 8 December 2022

Cascata Solutions, a provider of waterfall fund administration software, has launched a new software which aims to address impediments to the adoption of back-office technology assisting with waterfall calculations.

The tool should allow fund administrators to share their waterfall/carry calculations with clients and auditors more easily. Cascata hopes to deliver system-generated calculations such as preferred return, simple compounding, or interest on net contribution for American and European-style waterfall arrangements in an excel model.

“Waterfall innovation has been available for well over a decade.
