Cinven ups bid for Sanne to £1.42bn

Fund administrator Sanne has entered into discussions with Cinven after receiving a fifth takeover offer.

Cinven increased its offer by 13% on Sanne’s last closing price before the latest announcement. The all cash offer saw Cinven bid 875 pence per share, which equates to £1.42bn.

According to a Sanne company statement, Cinven has until 5pm on 9 July to announce a firm intention of its offer.
