Citco launches tech platform for GCs
Citco’s Global Subsidiary Governance Services (GSGS) has launched a tech platform aimed at harmonising the administration of global entities.
GSGS Task Management System (TMS), developed in-house, is designed for use by general counsels, in-house legal teams and corporate secretarial functions.
The platform is a tool for process management, task scheduling and reports in real-time.
Process management
GSGS TMS gives its users visibility over annual obligations, service requests and projects, such as global director changes or entity reductions. It also offers comparisons with historical data, such as fees charged.
Task scheduling
GSGS TMS combines auto-generation and data input, and processes these by predefined rules per jurisdiction and type of legal entity to schedule major compliance events based on core data. This can include things such as final year-end and date of incorporation.
Reports
The system has dashboards for compliance, tasks and related costs for the whole portfolio. GSGS TMS claims to be user friendly, interactive and can create charts and heat maps of various data and information. Users also have the ability to zoom in and out per region, division, entity, service or project.
Through these areas, the platform claims to offer clients full transparency over their global governance status and obligations.
According to Robert-Jan Kokshoorn, head of business development at Citco GSGS, the firm has already rolled out the full integration of its current operations into the GSGS TMS.
During this year, Citco GSGS intends to give clients access via a secure portal to directly access reports and upload service requests.
