Column: A mindfully bigger brain

by Contributor 30 May 2023

I have just returned from the Business Revival Conference, which this year did its best to showcase the best in workplace wellbeing.

I saw ‘wellness pods’ that puffed nice-smelling oils into the air, with red-light chandelier-esque displays hovering over a sunbed against a backdrop of projected ocean waves, crashing on a shore of some faraway fictional beach. I saw DNA-based nutrition planning and fitness apps, plus numerous health and performance coaching and e-learning platforms, all trying to equip organisations with the tools they need to cultivate a happier, healthier and one might assume productive workforce.
