The EU's SFDR is one of the issues top of mind for European private equity firms and LPs alike at present. Whether a fund is Article 6, 8 or 9 is no longer a discussion among experts but has become mainstream – at least in Europe. GPs can speak knowledgeably about their choice of category in the SFDR and what they do when it comes to ESG.
