The fund finance legal team must include lawyers familiar with civil and banking law

Typically, banks grant a credit facility to an investment fund secured by a pledge over the commitments of the investors visà-vis the fund (subscription credit facility). You would also expect to see a pledge over the fund’s bank account into which the investors pay their commitments.
