Core opens for business
Core Fund Services has launched, with the firm aiming to provide Guernsey-based GPs with a range of offerings, including fund administration, accounting, compliance and corporate governance services.
The team comprises the founders Martin Scott, CEO, and Jos Ensink, director, as well as Dave Davison, associate director.
Scott has more than 20 years’ experience in fund administration, holding exec and non-exec roles in regulated financial businesses and regulated investment fund vehicles. Ensink has worked in the regulated financial services industry in Guernsey for 25 years, while Davison’s responsibilities include overseeing administration services, which are at the heart of the business.
Scott shared more on the essence of the firm and its values: “Core is about three key ideas. Firstly, a good fund administrator is right at the very core of its clients’ operations and should be coordinating the needs of all stakeholders seamlessly. Secondly, we value our principles under which we do business, particularly in a world where stakeholders seek business partners with a strong sense of purpose in doing the right thing. Finally, we are about core stability – we believe in a long-term, sustainable business model, and our desire to be here for the long term will equally encourage clients to partner with us for their own long term.”
The provider said it hopes to offer a bespoke fund administration service that caters to the needs of the private markets.
