Cority acquires Greenstone
Cority has acquired ESG reporting software provider Greenstone.
Cority is an environmental, health and safety software provider which aims to provide a platform of accessible combined organisation datasets to incite data-driven decisions.
The acquisition of Greenstone will bolster Cority’s sustainability and ESG offerings to its existing client base.
The solution will be incorporated into Cority’s sustainability cloud to support its clients in reaching their sustainability objectives.
Greenstone began in 2006 as a carbon accounting software business. Today, it helps fund managers integrate ESG reporting by facilitating data gathering, analysis and monitoring. It offers guided workflows, adaptable questionnaires, data collection wizards, emission and framework libraries and data management support services.
Last year, Greenstone was the winner of Technology: ESG prize at The Drawdown Awards 2022.
“We are excited to be joining forces with Cority, a company that shares our mission to help our clients make better sustainability and ESG decisions through data-driven insights,” commented Matthew de Villiers, CEO of Greenstone. “Our combined strengths will equip us to deliver a comprehensive suite of sustainability solutions that enable customers to measure, manage, and report sustainability and ESG information and performance throughout their organisations, supply chains, and investment portfolios,” he added.
