by Krystal Scanlon 7 December 2021

Intertrust has agreed to a €1.8bn takeover bid from CSC Global Financial Markets.

The recommended all-cash public offer of €20 per share represents a premium of around 59% on Intertrust’s closing share price of €12.56 (as of 11 November).

This represents an increase on CVC’s recent bid for the financial services company. On 12 November, Intertrust announced it had entered into exclusive discussions with CVC, in relation to a potential public cash offer of €18 per share, representing a premium of 43% on Intertrust’s closing share price.
