Data is king (even when it comes to fund domiciles)

Ensuring excellent levels of service provision is a vital component of fund domicile selection. However, as more and more managers turn to outsourced fund administration, the war for talent has escalated to new highs. Attracting and retaining top talent has become a pronounced challenge in more popular jurisdictions, notably Luxembourg. But according to Mike Hughes, global head of service lines at Ocorian, the industry’s current skills and talent woes speak to a far greater challenge - the lack of standardisation.
