Debevoise promotes Amos

Debevoise & Plimpton has named Benjamin Amos as international counsel.

Benjamin Amos, is member of the Investment Management Group and resident in the London office. He advises private equity sponsors and fund investors on matters including fund formation and restructurings, secondaries, ongoing operational matters, co-investments, carry planning and management team spinouts, and acquisitions of interests in private equity firms. 

Amos is also a member in the firm’s Alternative Assets Transactions and Liquidity Solutions Group, where he advises general partners, secondaries fund sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and other investors on secondary transactions, fund restructurings and tender offers, preferred equity investments and acquisitions of interests in private equity firms. 

He has recently acted for clients, such as AlbaCore Capital, Allianz Capital Partners, Glendower Capital, HarbourVest Partners, Intermediate Capital Group, J.F. Lehman, Liberty Mutual, Odyssey Investment Partners, Pantheon Ventures, Park Square Capital, Providence Equity Partners and Prudential Financial.

Amos joined Debevoise in 2010, initially based in the New York office until 2015.
