Double hire for Pantheon
Pantheon has made two senior appointments to its London office, naming John Eggleston (pictured left) as partner and chief technology officer, and Richard Berke (pictured right) to the newly created position of global head of recruitment.
Reporting to Robin Bailey, chief operating officer, Eggleston has responsibility for core technology infrastructure, information security and systems development. He joins the firm from BGF where he was a member of the executive and investment committees. He led the TMT investment group while being a non-executive director on several boards, and provided strategic CTO support to various portfolio companies. Prior to BGF, Eggleston was co-founding chief information officer at Callcredit.
Berke, who reports to Dianne Remanous, global head of HR, brings almost 20 years of financial services recruitment experience with him having most recently served as head of resourcing at Insight Investment.
“Our operating model continues to experience fast change - we carry a responsibility to be both alert and responsive to that challenge,” said Paul Ward, managing partner at Pantheon. “Technology and people are two vital elements on which the security and success of the whole firm depends.”
