Drawbridge hires three

by Krystal Scanlon 14 September 2021

Cyber security provider Drawbridge has hired Adam Menkes as global head of operations, Jacob Cane as head of strategy and Art Murphy as director of business development.

Menkes joins from Goldman Sachs where he was vice president and headed up the firm’s technology and real estate consulting divisions. Prior to this, he was a director at Credit Suisse for five years where he consulted on technology, real estate and HR and vice president for six years at Morgan Stanley, focused on the same areas. Before this, Menkes was head of project management at Eze Castle.

In his new role at Drawbridge, Menkes will focus on enhancing the firm’s operational infrastructure.

Cane joins from global IT services provider Abacus Group, where he was managing director for two and a half years. Prior to this, he was president of Proactive Technologies for 11 years, prior to the firm’s acquisition by Abacus.

In his new role, Cane will focus on business and product development.

“2021 has been a milestone year for Drawbridge as we accelerate our rapid global growth and continue investing in our people, technology and services to best prepare our clients to combat the increasingly complex threat landscape,” said Scott DePetris, president & COO of Drawbridge. “We’re proud to add this exceptional strategic talent to the Drawbridge team to continuously provide our clients with the software and services they need to ensure they have the most robust cybersecurity programs available."

Menkes and Cane are joined by Art Murphy, who has also been hired as director of business development.

These latest hires follow Drawbridge’s appointment of Scott DePetris as president and chief operating officer in June.
