EDC to collect ESG data

by Krystal Scanlon 25 January 2022

The European Data Cooperative (EDC) has started collecting PE and VC ESG data contributions as part of a new initiative to measure industry efforts towards net zero.

The non-profit database, which replaces Invest Europe’s previous database PEREP_Analytics, is the joint partnership between Invest Europe and its national association partners. It aims to collect Europe-wide industry data on activity (fundraising, investments & divestments) and economic impact (employment, turnover, EBITDA & CAPEX).
