ESAs publish statement on application of SFDR

The three European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA, known as the ESAs) have published a joint statement on the application of the sustainable financial disclosure regulation (SFDR), which comes into effect on 10 March 2021.

According to the statement, the overall objective is to “achieve an effective and consistent application and national supervision of the SFDR, promoting a level playing field and the protection of investors.
