FCA lays out priorities for asset management regime

At the Investment Association´s annual dinner last week, Ashley Alder, chair of the FCA, gave a speech in which he laid out the regulator´s priorities as the UK reforms its regime governing asset managers.

In light of the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSM), which received Royal Assent at the end of June 2023, the FCA is looking at how it can make the UK’s financial services industry more competitive internationally.
