Alternative investing is growing all over the world, with alternative fund assets forecast by Preqin to grow to $14trn by 2023. The decision as to where to domicile an alternative fund will become more complex.

Domicile decision-making has typically been influenced by historical factors such as the reputation of a jurisdiction, investor sentiment, set-up timelines and process, regulations, cost and quality of service providers.
