First NFT PE fund to be launched
Romanian investment company, Perseus Fintech, is due to become the first PE fund in NFT. The new investment opportunity aims to attract traditional investment funds and capital from private investors.
The firm will predominantly use Solana and Ethereum blockchains. In order to implement this fund, Perseus will need to seed capital for new projects, mint valuable projects and trade NFTs.
A range of ‘non-financial’ rewards have been promised from the proceeds of the project being ‘swapped’ into utilities associated with token holders. These include an Alpha group dedicated channel, free platform access, whitelist for NFT mining, among others.
The token will soon be listed on a tier one exchange, with fresh NFTs to be minted and staked in 2023.
Perseus Fintech is an investment company that started looking for crypto investments, blockchain startups and NFTs in 2022. They will soon be releasing an app for investors to track and research their investments, alongside the benefit of communicating with other Perseus members.
This development is part of a growing trend of digitised assets entering the private equity sphere. One example is Hamilton Lane offering access to some of its funds via tokenization back in October this year.
