Fund finance to the rescue
According to a recent podcast by Cadwalader’s Mike Mascia, in which he interviews Jocelyn Hirsch of Kirkland & Ellis, Hirsch renames her fund finance work over recent weeks as ‘sponsor finance’.
“We’re spending lots of time speaking to sponsors about their entire portfolio; every single company’s credit agreement might have an issue under it or a potential issue. In the same conversation we’re talking about their credit agreement and facility and issues they might be having,” says Hirsch.
