Gatemore appoints GC

Gatemore Capital Management has appointed Larry Small as a partner and general counsel.

Small joins from Valence8, an investment management firm he co-founded in 2022. As a partner and a general counsel to the firm, he was responsible for fund and investment structuring across the firm’s fund vehicles. He was also a member of the management committee.

Prior to this, Small spent 17 years at Cabot Square Capital, between 2004 and 2022, also as a partner and general counsel. Here, he spearheaded transaction structuring, negotiation and execution of the firm’s investment funds.

He began his career at Clifford Chance as a senior associate.
