Gen II buys Stone Pine

Gen II Fund Services has bought Denver-based Stone Pine Accounting Services.

Founded in 1998, Stone Pine provides private equity fund administration, tax and investor services to various private equity fund structures.

The deal expands Gen II’s footprint in western US and increases its employee headcount to more than 750. Overall, the firm now services more than 5,000 funds, reports to 50,000 investors on behalf of their clients and has increased its assets under administration to more than $600bn.
