Gen II names COO and CCO
Nikolaos Perros has joined Gen II as chief operating officer and Ishita Shah has been appointed chief compliance officer, both based in New York.
Previously, Perros served for ten years as head of private equity services at The Citco Group where he was responsible for establishing the firm’s private capital global service offering. Prior to this, he spent three years as CFO at Apollo Global, after two years as director and CFO for private equity at Blackstone.
In his new role, Perros will oversee all aspects of global client services and M&A integration.
Shah also spent ten years at Citco and now joins Gen II as chief commercial officer. At Citco she was most recently head of North America for private equity. Before this, she spent nine years at JP Morgan as vice president.
At Gen II she will be responsible for leading the firm’s commercial strategy through business development and management of long-term relationships with key clients.
“We’re committed to investing in our people, and as we continue our robust growth, the addition of these talented professionals will position Gen II to even more effectively innovate and scale globally,” commented Steven Millner, CEO of Gen II. “In addition to their notable experience, Nikolaos and Ishita are a perfect fit with Gen II’s focus on operational excellence and we’re confident their contributions will benefit the firm and our clients.”
“I am excited to join an industry leader like Gen II and look forward to working with my talented colleagues to continue to scale and further enhance Gen II’s best-in-class service,” said Perros.
“It is a thrill to join such an innovative firm and I’m eager to help expand and optimise the offerings Gen II provides to trusted clients around the world,” added Shah.
