Goldman Sachs launches ELTIF

by Silvia Saccardi 26 July 2023

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has launched its first ELTIF. We speak to the firm's head of EMEA alternatives distribution for wealth, Barry Fricke, to get the details.

The Drawdown (TDD): How is the ELTIF structured?

Barry Fricke (BF): The ELTIF is a closed-ended fund, structured as a Luxembourg SICAV under UCI Part II. The fund has various design features that were put in place to make access for suitable individual investors easier, such as being ‘fully funded’ (meaning no capital calls) and having a relatively short investment period.
