GP commitments increase

by Krystal Scanlon 2 September 2021

According to a new report, fund managers committed more of their own capital to their funds, with 40% contributing 3% or more in 2020.

MJ Hudson’s Private Equity Fund Terms Research - Sixth edition found that while most (97%) of funds included a GP commitment, only 10% of funds reported a GP commitment of less than 2%, compared with 35% which committed this amount in 2019.
