GP stake buyer for impact funds launches

Zamo Capital has launched as Europe’s first dedicated investor in impact firms.

Zamo will target equity stakes in impact fund managers in return for capital, expertise, support and a network of investors to support capital raises.

Zamo has been set up by Jim Roth, previously a co-founder of LeapFrog Investments, an impact investor in emerging markets.

The newly-launched entity has received backing from Big Society Capital.
