Green regulation proliferation

The Green Technical Advisory Group (GTAG), an independent advisory group to the UK government, has released an analysis reporting a rapid increase in sustainability-related regulation across the globe, which has made investing in green assets more difficult.

According to the paper, there are now more than 30 taxonomies in progress or in action, which signifies a heightened risk of fragmentation and reduced transparency where regulation is misaligned.
