by Krystal Scanlon 15 June 2020

The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has launched a 10-day fast-track licensing regime for managers of overseas collective investment funds.

The regime aims to enable simultaneous consideration of a migration into the Bailiwick of Guernsey and licencing of the manager, followed by consideration of any applications to act for any open-ended funds under the Non-Guernsey scheme regime.

Who is it for?

The new programme caters to the following:

  • Managers migrating to Guernsey
  • Managers looking to establish a new Guernsey entity
Licence applications

Licence applications can be accepted in advance of a fund application for Guernsey managers, which meet the requirements of the EU National Private Placing Regime.
