H.I.G. Capital creates global head of ESG role

H.I.G. Capital has appointed Kim Leinwand Erle as managing director and the firm’s first global head of ESG, based in New York.

Erle joins H.I.G. from NY Green Bank, where she spent the last three years as managing director and head of strategy, overseeing ESG business strategy formulation and execution. Prior to this, she served as managing partner of Sunset Green Home for four years where she was responsible for advising on sustainable finance and strategy.

Her new role will see Erle focus on integrating ESG best practices with the aim of driving measurable long-term value for H.I.G.
