by Alice Murray 23 June 2022

Goodwin has appointed regulatory partner Andrew Henderson to its private investment funds practice in London.

Henderson joins from Macfarlanes where he was a partner for two years in the financial services team specialising in financial regulation and advising international and UK private and institutional fund managers, financial technology providers and other financial institutions.

Previously he was a partner in Evershed Sutherland’s financial services team, where he served for six years. Before that, Henderson held senior roles at Ropes & Gray, Clifford Chance and Skadden.

“At a time when the regulatory demands placed upon our clients are greater than ever before, we are focused on providing the highest quality advice and most comprehensive offering across multiple fund strategies in Europe, the US and Asia,” said Michael Halford, co-chair of Goodwin’s private investment funds practice. “We are delighted to bring in someone of Andrew’s experience, technical expertise and know-how.”
