Highvern expands to Cayman Islands

by Silvia Saccardi 2 November 2022

The Highvern Group has expanded into the Cayman Islands through its acquisition of Genesis Trust & Corporate Services.

Genesis is a service provider located in Cayman and caters to the private capital and funds governance markets. Its services include administering Cayman Islands trusts, aiding the formation of investment funds, company formation and accounting, among others.

Highvern has more than 100 employees across offices in Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland, Switzerland and the UK.

Martin Hall, chief executive of Highvern, said in a statement: "We are delighted to welcome all our new colleagues in Cayman with whom we have already developed a close working relationship; we are looking forward to supporting them with growing the business in Cayman and making it a fully integrated part of the Highvern group.”

Roger Priaulx, managing director of Genesis, said: “We are already seeing opportunities that being part of such a well-regarded international group brings for both our clients and our colleagues.”

Joining the Cayman board, Naomi Rive, group head of private wealth at Highvern, added: “The professional team at Genesis has a very strong reputation and we’re excited to leverage the potential from bringing our two businesses together, hiring elsewhere too, and creating one of the strongest private wealth teams across the locations in which we operate.”

Highvern recently took home the accolade for Fund Administration: Under $50bn (Total AUM) at The Drawdown Awards 2022.
